Baseline Onsite, Australia’s leading remote medical, emergency response, safety and security services provider, has bolstered its training capability and capacity following the recent acquisition of WEST Rescue.

Along with providing emergency and medical personnel, WEST Rescue are a nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The acquisition of WEST Rescue positions Baseline Onsite as not only a provider of essential medical and emergency response services to remote sites across Australia, but also a training organisation for up-skilling clients’ personnel.

Paul Moss, General Manager of Baseline Onsite, says he’s pleased to be able to offer this value-add service to Baseline Onsite clients.

“Being able to host training for our clients as an RTO further cements our position as a one-stop-shop for the medical, safety and security needs of remote sites in Australia,” Mr Moss said.

The suite of training courses available for Baseline Onsite clients include:

  • Emergency response and rescue
  • Firefighting: onsite, bushfire and below ground
  • First aid: basic, remote and advanced
  • Hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT)
  • Leadership
  • Working at height and in confined spaces

Many of these training courses can be conducted onsite, reducing the logistical challenges that some clients can experience when training large teams.

“We’re very pleased to share that all WEST Rescue employees and training consultants have accepted roles as part of the Baseline Onsite team, and WEST Rescue’s owner Dale Eylward will remain with the company.” Mr Moss said.

“I’d like to thank everyone from WEST Rescue and Baseline Onsite who have worked hard to ensure a smooth transition. We look forward to introducing our clients to the additional services.”
